Viridian Calls for Committee Member Applications

At the November 11 board meeting, the Board of Directors for Viridian MMD voted to reorganize and restructure the way committees in the District work. With help from the District Management Structure committee, the Board voted to have each committees made up of 5 Viridian residents and up to 2 ex-officio (non-voting) Board members. Committees will work closely with District consultants to help bring the voice and concerns of residents directly to the Board.
Viridian MMD will have 6 committees covering different topics related to the District. These include:
- Communications
- Budget, Finance, & Audit
- Parks & Open Spaces
- District Management Structure
- Traffic, Safety, & Security
- Community Relations
Committee members will serve 1 year terms and will be selected and appointed in January of each year by the Board of Directors.
